That must have ben done when he was "experimenting" with a mushroom/LSD mixture.
Several years ago I flew my plane from North Carolina to Washington state. A friend of mine (a vegetarian) accompanied me on the trip and during the planning phase he asked me if we should carry some emergency food with us in case we went down in some remote area. My reply was that I had 180 pounds of grain fed beef sitting next to me and I wasn't worried at all. He had to think a few seconds about that one, but noticed he had a knife and side arm with him the whole trip.
