This happened to me in the early 70's on rte 80 in N.J. It was a windy day and a piece of plywood fell off a flatbed and came thru the middle of my windshield at 65mph. I swerved but didn't lose control. The driver had no idea so I did 75 to catch him and flag him down. The driver muttered something about the guy who didn't tie down the load properly. He's responsible for his load. A state trooper came by but no ticket was written. My only injury was when i got home and brushed the glass off my front seat and cut my finger.
10 years ago, a wheel (from a Chevy pickup) came at me and rolled over my hood on the way to an oil change. It smashed up my font end. I kept the oil change app't and when finished i asked to speak to the dealership owner. I told him i came in for an oil change and now look at my ride..
