Thanks to all you guys that weighed in on this - picked up the Avalon today.

Interior is light grey, some of nearly as light as the rims - almost white, other parts like the carpets are darker grey. Nice riding car, quicker than it looks. It will flat scoot from 40 up. Not too shabby off the line, but the passing gear is something great. Nice to have a 30 mpg car that eats regular gas, not the high tone stuff our other cars need.

This is it, at the dealer's lot.

Lots of electrical around the map light - not sure if any of it is switched - but will be going after the auto-dimming rearview mirror soon.

We have a Fusion and have been really pleased with it. We had to get the better engine 2.0 turbo and interior/wheel package too. Of course we were going for performance and comfort over everything else. It's one the better handling front wheel drive cars I've driven, if not the best (haven't driven a TL). The car sits very low though and it's easy to curb check if you don't pay real close attention to the dimensions. Only other complaint would be 2nd gear and how it desires higher RPM for a smoother shift. It likes to be driven. PAID 16,000 for a year old used one with 26,000 miles.

Just saw you already picked one after I posted. You can't go wrong with a Yota, congrats!
