I agree that we should stop illegal immigration, all for it. But saying you just want to shoot all of them like they are game you go hunt is just ignorant and sounds straight up wrong. No matter how you put it these people are people, most of who just try and come here for a better life. It is completely wrong that they come here and take advantage of the system, but don't go out and sound like one of those racist and hateful people that think we should just kill everything we view as a threat or don't agree with. All it does is makes you sound like an ignorant racist scared little child.

If it was your ranch that they were crossing... You've kept your fences intact... You've posted no trespassing signs... You've verbally warned them to stay off your property...

Does a property owner have any rights?

Now... if they'll just walk straight up the highway... only we the public will be hampered in our free movement on our highways.

    These people?

    Per article-
The consulate said in a statement Wednesday that the Mexican government "reiterates its strongest condemnation of the incident that led to the death of one of its citizens."
Hernandez had lived in the San Diego area for more than 20 years, according to the lawsuit.

Isnt that kinda stupid? He lived in another country for 20 years, deported 2x's, and still NEVER became a citizen of the US? I was born a citizen and I know it takes a while to become one, but I think 20 years is enough time. So to me the excuse, "he came here to better his life" is useless if he never made that wrong a right. I also, do not think that it deserved death.
The Mex president will come back to the White House to complain to Obama and of course, Obama will submit and apologize for everything. He will probably offer Texas as a gift.

First of all, WOW!! I know some illegals and believe me there is differences just like a redneck and a city slicker. Some obey laws some don't, some citizens obey laws and some don't. The moral is not to be predjudice and judge every illegal to be mexican or scum bags. As for the article these people obviously want justice for a "man" pleading for his life and for being a victim of abusive. Not because he was illegal or had 4 kids, and abusing the system we all still have inalienable rights.

NOPE!! not as far as the P.C. crowd sees it!! "Oh they were just coming here for a better life" cause it IS their right and HAD to cross YOUR private property to do so!!

Without securing our borders, there will never be a good way to stop illegals from coming here.

Build the wall and show them we mean business.
Sort of a bingo to me......Secure the border as the first priority. Don't let the bad guys in. Then concentrate on finding the folks here illegally and escort them out. Seems pretty logical to me. Could happen.

Did you just say that some illegals obey the law, right after you refered to them as illegals? You better check your math on that one.

Illegals do not obey the law simply by being here...

    PLUS

They operate vehicles without insurance, they don't pay taxes on their earnings, they don't have legal status in the US.

    They are ILLEGAL ALIENS.

Mother rearended about a decade ago. Car totaled. Mother in ER. DPS tells me the guy that hit her is responsible but is here illegally and they just let him go. According to them, he has no assets to pay for the wreck and just let him go because Border Patrol folks would not want to drive to Kerrville to get this guy. Sucks........

I don't think the statement was necessarily racist but I certainly don't agree that we should hunt and kill those here illegally. These are simply people who come here trying to have a better life. Playing the race card is sort of a cheap shot.

Hunt them down and send them home? - I'm all for that.

agreed - but try to tell that to michael moore & freinds

Gonna be some non-PC stuff in here. There has to be a better answer to what we are doing now. Couple of my thoughts regarding this case and illegal immigration in general.

    - Law enforcement likely did not mean to seriously harm this man (as they shouldn't). A little bit of roughness in handling is definitely okay in dealing with illegals, but not anything that is likely to cause serious bodily injury or death. At least that's how I'd look at it on a jury.
    - If we had Candadians swarming into this country illegally, creating the troubles the Mexican illegals do, I'd have the same response.
    - It has to be really embarrassing for the Mexican government...."How dare you treat these people this way. They are just trying to make a better life for themselves by fleeing from our shithole in unprecedented numbers. How can you blame them?"
    - What would work better than what we are doing now.......First, buy a couple of the southern ranches that are being sold off because of the illegal problem, properly compensating these ranchers for their loss because the government isn't doing it's job. Turn them into large holding camps. Catch an illegal, he goes into it for 3 months. Basic food, water, nothing else. Packed almost like sardines with human conditions (but barely).
    - Phase 2. Since we just stuck them in shithole prisons, we owe them a cruise. Pile them into large ship containers with bars, windows, and send them on a cruise down to Tulum or Salina Cruz (extremely southern cities on East and West sides of Mexico). Drop them off and let them make their way across all of Mexico before they can try again.
    - And of course, I think that border property owners should have the right to protect their property as they see fit. And considering the coyotes are now working for the cartels, most any group of people crossing their land should honestly be considered dangerous. No jailtime for the rancher protecting his home or property. And yes, I realize that means there will be some ranchers getting away with killing illegals for fun, but that's what happens when you go tearing through somebody's large ranch.

We deport the ones that get caught right? Why should we deport them to their country of origin? I'd be ok with spending a little extra to deport them to say... Somalia, or maybe North Korea

Honestly I feel our main focus should be securing the boarder. If the boarder was actually secure, our illegal alien problems would eventually go away through attrition alone.
