HEB Jalapeño bacon. They also have Hatch Pepper bacon right now. Both are some good stuff!

I was just there at HEB and asked, the guy looked at me like I was crazy, and told me to check in the deli, same same. I may try to get over to the HEB over in Helotes the BIGGEST one in the chain, its a Bandera Rd and 1604 and if you have not been its a trip. The store is NOT measured in sq ft, its measured in ACRES...

they might have it. I always shop at the one on 3009 and 35. (Schertz)

I will take a picture of the packages next time I am there and post them. It will make you want to drive the distance. lol

edit: it is with the rest of the bacon and breakfast sausage.

As promised. If you cook it on on a cast iron skillet in a bbq pit with mesquite coals, I hear it's like shooting a terrorist with a bacon laced .308 round 1" to the left of his bung hole from 850 yards out. Lol

Edit: no.... it is even more euphoric than that.

If you are asking about hatch bacon, they might not have it anymore. Its a seasonal item. You are right, ask the market manager, the employees might not know.

Only problem is have you ever read the ingredients in Beggin Strips? You got to read a long ways till you hit 'Bacon Fat'. My dog will not eat the stuff, suggest NO ONE feed this to their dog...
