I'm not concerned that the refrigerator in my garage will burn my house down. There will never be a tesla or other ev in my garage.
Ya know, it could be the coolest vehicle in the world but I'm not sure I'd ever want to own a car called a Yangwang. Probably just me...
But that name could be used for an opening line when trying to pickup someone at the bar.
Probably not so good when trying to sell it or buy parts at the auto parts store.

And you can forget range estimates when towing anything with an EV pickup. They simply cannot do the things trucks were intended to do.

A man stuck in a locked C7 Corvette Convertible after the battery died called firefighters who broke out the window to free him from the car.
Just returned from Iceland and got an jnsight of how a “green” nation is accepting of EVs. Also walked away with a better perspective on other topics that I’ll add to the appropriate threads.
1) None of the busses, garbage trucks, or commercial vehicles are EV. They are all diesel. Some of the liberal locales in the US should take note of this.
2) There was a surprising number of 3/4 ton diesels running around, all newer trucks not more than a couple years old. RAMS made up the majority, followed by F250s and a handful of Sierra 2500s. Also, Jeep Wranglers are a comparable mix of vehicles as I’d see here in Houston with Land Cruisers having a heavy presence as well.
3) As far as 2 wheels are concerned, EV scooters rule the roads in the city. Very few bicycles or ICE scooters/motorcycles
4) I’d guess a good 10% of the cars are EVs, mainly Teslas. They are very commonplace. Even though it gets cold there, I’m supposing that short range isn’t as much of a concern for a small island country
