They have evolved. PayPal, Cash app, Venmo etc... some probably have the card readers for their phones. I bet some will take 9mm and 223.Strippers love cash, or so I have heard.
ETA: They're all cheaper than my ex-wife.

Sounds more like henpecked manbitches then married men!Cash money? That's a foreign object for many married men!

I found an evening of sportphucing to be more enjoyable and cheaper then a strip club. I do enjoy watching a gyrating nude female, but preferably in the closest proximity of my own bed! That is entirely true, but it's still cheaper than an ex-wife!

A $600 hit is them being uncharacteristically kind.
Good point.I was like 21, so my card probably didn't have that high of a limit at the time. $600 feels like a shit ton of money when you're a college student.
Eh, same could be said about lots of things. Smoking, drinking, gambling, going out to eat, designer clothing, etc. As long as you go in knowing it's a waste of money and have the money to blow. I no longer go to them but don't frown upon anyone who does. Don't go in believing that the girls are actually going to hook up with you (for free).Blowing money on strippers is pretty much a suckers game!
Lol Show Palace in Austin, TX used to have $2 dances. You'd exchange your bigger bills for $2 bills. Then you'd get like a 10 second lapdance for $2 from the girls who would work their way around the floor.Good point.
If you ever go back to a strip club, remember to take $2 bills. Leave a couple on the stage while the featured dancer isn't looking. It's an absolute hoot to see some young lady pick up the first $2 bill she's ever seen in her life and get this quizzical, confused look on her face and then look around the room like she expects someone to explain it to her. I've actually seen them take the bill over to a manager, bartender, waitress, or other stripper and show it to them, obviously asking questions. I guess their first impression was that it was some sort of fake.
$2 bills - I call 'em "stripper confusers."
Wow. Brings back memories. The number of UT Austin girls who used to work the peep shows was just staggering back in the day.Lol Show Palace in Austin, TX used to have $2 dances. I remember one time at a signing event at one of the adult book stores the staff were nervous because Austin PD had been really cracking down on them, coming up with any little thing to hassle 'em. I was there on a junket with production company promoters and we had a radio station broadcasting live. What happens? A pair of Austin's finest come walking in wearing riot gear trying to put on an intimidation show.
I greeted them so loudly the entire store could hear.
"Welcome, officers! It's so nice of you to drop by to support the event! If you need anything, just let me know! I'll be happy to take you to the head of the line and get you a couple of signed 8x10s! Hey, I know! Would you like to pose with her?"
Then I shouted across the store to the porn star signing autographs "Hey, you mind coming over and posing with a couple of Austin's finest? It's so nice to see such support for free speech from the law enforcement community, I think you should make a special effort to make them feel welcome!"
The cops glared at me, walked down one aisle, and walked right back out the door.
The manager of the store and all the counter workers shook my hand and some of them hugged me after the event. They'd never seen a single cop embarrassed out of the store before, much less two. They all said they were sure I was going to jail while it was happening.
On-topic part of this post - You had to pay cash for a signed picture or to pose with the actress. But maybe that doesn't apply because I was negotiating to the the officers a freebie...
I use physical cash to purchase anything that the left mind (in the future or now) find offensive. This would include anything to do with firearms, alcohol, gambling, etc.Im 25, I've pretty much never used physical cash besides some garage sales. I've got a couple credit cards that have different amounts of cash back and try to get the most cash back. I have noticed that I have difficulty keeping track of my spending. It doesn't help it's spread out on a couple different cards now. I've mathed out I should be able to live off of $400 a month, but I'm way over. Which is not helping my financial goals. I wonder if I should try physical cash out for a while. With my current over budget spending I'm only getting about $200-400 a year in rewards. If I stick to my budget, the card rewards would be a fraction of savings.
Do you still use physical cash? Why do you use physical cash?
Thanks,
