First, I was born here in Texas.
The birther issue is old news, and proven to be baseless. The legal documentation that the state of Hawaii issues has been produced proving that he is an American by birth. Regardless, his mother was an American citizen therefore, he is an American citizen.

Since it's apparent that you HAVE seen a real, authentic, legitimate Birth Certificate, and not the "legal document" that Hawaii produced with the date just a few years old, we can take YOUR word that Obammy is rightfully a US citizen and legally elected.

You might want to look that part up. By law the following must all be true:


For persons born between December 24, 1952 and November 14, 1986, a person is a U.S. citizen if all of the following are true :

1. One of the person's parents was a U.S. citizen when the person in question was born
2. The citizen parent lived at least ten years in the United States before the child's birth;
3. A minimum of 5 of these 10 years in the United States were after the citizen parent's 14th birthday.

Obama's mother was the only Citizen of his two parents and was only 18 at the time of his birth, therefore not old enough to pass citizenship on to him.
