First, even though I think Kamala is an idiot (at best), I'm still shocked at how she's unable to give an interview or participate in a debate. They sequestered her for 2 weeks doing nothing but training for this debate, and most junior high kids could do better. That hand waiving of hers drives me crazy.

The prejudice of the moderators is the worst I've ever seen. They didn't even try to pretend to be neutral. Is it impossible to have a real political debate anymore? Shame.

Trump did ok, but he needs to go back and look at how Ronald Reagan handled his debates. Reagan kept his cool and took his opposition apart. Trump got mad and came across as a mean old guy. Now "mean old guy" doesn't hurt my feelings, but that is what threw all the women over to Clinton back when he debated Bob Dole. Women said Dole reminded them of their fathers when they were angry at them. Yeah, it sounds stupid to me, but that's how it works.

Trump's still an ass, but he's also not wrong!

Trump was fact-checked by ABC moderators 5 times during debate — while Harris was left alone

However, once again he needs to do his homework before opening his big mouth!

Trump floats punishment for ABC after debate

“I mean, to be honest, they’re a news organization. They have to be licensed to do it." Trump stated during a Wednesday morning during an appearance on 'Fox and Friends.' "They ought to take away their license for the way they did that.”

The FCC does not license major broadcast networks such as ABC.

Last year Trump threatened Comcast Universal, the parent company of NBC News and MSNBC, with investigations if he is elected president, citing what he called “Country Threatening Treason.”

Ever heard of the First Amendment, Donny Boy?

If we do end up with Harris as president, we know exactly who is to blame!

….However, once again he needs to do his homework before opening his big mouth!…
No, he needs to recognize his ego and hyperbole is his biggest weakness. Then he needs to take these opportunities to talk directly to the cameras/audience from his CEO side, not his marketing/sales side.

He should use these opportunities to talk directly about howhow the R vision for the next is better than “the last four years under socialist democrat leadership.”

If he keeps letting the moderators/opponent goad him into a defensive posture, he says things the make him look like a petulant idiot.

    From my WSJ newsfeed...

Republicans expressed frustration that Donald Trump didn’t help his candidacy during Tuesday’s debate against Kamala Harris.

"It wasn’t immediately clear whether the televised event, which drew more than 67 million viewers, according to data, would have a measurable impact on a race that was upended seven weeks ago when Harris became the nominee after a disastrous June debate performance by President Biden against Trump. Polls have shown a race that appears to be a coin flip between the two contenders, who are vying for support across roughly seven battleground states, including Pennsylvania, and most voters had entrenched views of Trump before Tuesday’s debate."

The rest of it pretty much reflects some of the smarter posts in this thread...

Meanwhile, a handful of undecided voters in battleground states broadly agreed that he appeared rattled, but remain set in their views about the candidates.

    "
In interviews with The Wall Street Journal, a handful of voters in battleground states broadly agreed that Trump appeared rattled by Harris, who repeatedly goaded him into veering off course, including by saying that some people got bored at his rallies and left early.

Yet most said the debate didn’t shake their previously held notions about Trump and Harris and where they stand on issues such as the economy, immigration and conflicts overseas."

The Greeks are a tight bunch, no matter where they went or when.

I get that, and there will always be some sorority/fraternity bias; but Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority is comprised of more than 360,000 initiated members in graduate and undergraduate chapters located in 12 nations and territories so it's not like they were in the same house at the same time...

The value of the house is like the value of being in the Corps of Cadets or an Academy alumnus…it’s the lifelong network.

I usually prefer Occam’s explanation for these types of things though.
