Cut My First Slide

Son, said do it....so we mounted a SIg sight on his Glock 19 slide

I am half thinking about doing my Sign 226. Sold off my .40 USP & I'm setting the Sig up for the old suppressor. I have a machine shop making a booster in the Sigs thread pitch. I really am leaning towards just putting on suppressor sights. I love that Sig enough that my buddy wouldn't pony up for it. Besides he wanted a pig pistol while on his tractor.

You can use a face mill on anything if you’re willing to clean the mess up.

Son has a EDC Glock 48 with a rear sight dovetail mount J-Point. The sight sat very high and he wanted it lower. Took the mount off and milled the dovetail off leaving just the plate. Milled the ends of the plate square. Cut the slide to perfectly fit the plate so there would be no movement between plate and slide. Drilled and tapped 3 holes to hold the plate on.

Turned out good..............

They dont realize everyone that posted in that thread gets a notification of a new post.....somewhat aggravating when you get 20+ notifications and it's all the same person with no real substance to their posts......
