Farmers dumping milk on the ground. Butter and cheese producers they sell to are set up for restaurant packaging and can't easily or quickly convert to consumer packaging. 7% of milk production dumped.
Dairy cows being sent to slaughter.
Farmers plowing under vegetable crops.
Poultry operations disposing of laying eggs due to dropped restaurant demand. May start killing and burying chickens.
Pork producers going from profitable bacon production to lard production - due to, you guessed it, restaurant demand drop. They also cannot switch to consumer packaging easily.
Simply insane. Thanks to the mass hysteria.
