Lotsa confusion happening here on yer Gray's Anatomy.
This is taken in by the nasopharynx system. NOT your Oral intake system. The body has built in safeties to discern between which you are using at the moment.
Anything in the Oral system is flushed into the stomach eventually and is killed by the Ph.
A sneeze? Yes, it ejects from the nasopharynx systen into the throat and out of the mouth so its possible to have some virus in your throat but then you start swallowing again and the process takes care of itself.
Flushing your mouth? Good idea anyways. Flushes all cooties into the stomach bile which is exactly where you want it to be.
Your supposed to be hydrating anyways...
