Oldest daughter invited me to breakfast over the weekend.....we met up at a little mom and pop place she knows I like.

I couldn't decide between their Eggs Benedict or their corned beef hash. Both are top notch there.

So I did the only reasonable thing......I ordered both!

IF MY NUMBERS ARE LOW I CHEAT A LITTLE THAT'S WHY THE NURSES WOULD BRING ME THE OCCASIONAL DONUT IN THE MORNING WHEN IWAS IN THE HOSPITAL!

What are low numbers for you?

I only give you a hard time because all your meals appear to be high in carbs for someone that's prediabetic.

I like savory Grits. Milk & slices of American cheese(not the individually wrapped over processed) with the right amount of butter. Better yet is mexican Chicarrones cooked in a hot sauce until soften add the water & cook the grits.

Breakfast today was a toasted & buttered everything bagel and two left over Shake & Bake coated chicken thighs. Morningvdrink was some OJ mixed in with Lime/Cherry flavored seltzer.

It was all delicious but maybe too much considering those thighs were humongous. As compared to chickens when I was a kid, those today are huge.
