...in the Peoples' Socialist Яepublik of Kalifornia.

Calif. law that requires bullet casings to be stamped with a gun's ID takes effect

Feuer, who is running for LA city attorney, said the law would likely extend to other states which had been "looking to California to see if our law goes into effect."

The only thing that other states are "looking to California" for is to find out just how effin' stupid a state legislature can be.

Then there's this crop of crap being proposed there:

DOZENS OF GUN BILLS HEADED BROWN'S WAY

I'm sure Moonbeam will sign every one of them, too.

So how do they intend to do this? By using a firing pin with an ID# on it? How do they ensure the FP is not replaced? How do they enforce that a brass catcher is not used or brass is not picked up? How do they enforce that customers will even buy the new handguns with the new technology?

Well, glad to see gun legislation that is so well thought out

Morons. And the sheeple that live there just keep voting these idiots in. Keep that crap there, dont brang it here to Texas. I think if California experienced the BIG ONE and actually fell off in the ocean they would just float right over and attach themselves to China. Just sayin.

So I guess someone could frame another for murder by picking up their brass at the range, shooting someone, collecting the fired brass, and then dropping the range brass.

I wonder how many manufacturers will feel it is worth the effort to make a Cali-legal firearm now, or if that is part of the plan anyways.

I wonder why they think a criminal will give a flying **** if his gun is legal since he's already breaking the law to possess it and plans to break more laws anyways.

Stop it!!! You are going to confuse them with the facts. ;)

Seriously, and I know it's been said, but none of this, be it in CA or NY or where ever, has anything to do with crime prevention. It is all to disarm the citizen over time. An armed individual generally thinks for themselves and liberals have nothing to offer that sort of person. Most of them would be unemployed or relegated to being a pencil pusher and actually working for the people.

We all know that libiturds hate facts because those facts always prove that what the libiturds are spouting is nothing but 100% bullshit.

As for the Peoples' Socialist Яepublik of Kalifornia and New Dork, it definitely is not about guns, it's about control. They don't give a flying rat's ass about gun violence OR trying to prevent it. All they want is TOTAL control over the population so they can continue to spew their lies and bullshit and continue their agenda to try to turn this entire country into a Socialist/Marxist shithole, like so many other tin-pot dictator controlled countries around this ball of dirt. One World government my ass. Hell, Nevada is becoming California 2.0 because our state legislature is pushing extended background checks through processes. It'll pass, too, because the Damnocrats have a majority in both the House and Senate. Even if the governor vetoes it, the legislature has the votes to overturn his veto....unless he vetoes it on the last day of legislative meetings. Nevada's legislature only meets once every 2 years and only for 120 days.

I was at the Ducati factory in Italy last week and the tour guide explained the different emission setups for the various markets. She got to CA and it stuck out like a sore thumb. There was the EU market, the Asian market, the US Market and the CA market. I wanted to blurt out "just quit selling to them" as she got into the extent of the work and costs necessary to get bikes to CA.

Guess the money in CA is still worth the headaches for any manf to keep jumping through hoops for.

And the standard liberal talking-point response to this is always "Well, why outlaw murder? People are just going to break that law, right? Why have any laws?" - which showcases their inability to have a rational discussion about anything.
