It's been a long time since I have seen a good deal for ammo or guns. Last time I went in December the vendors were saying people were only buying handguns. Rifles weren't moving at all.

You actually can reload steel but not as many times as you can reload brass. I have reloaded some steel just because i was out of brass and didnt have money for ammo and wanted to shoot. Steel can be reloaded but only once or twice is recommended, which is why most people say you cant is that most dont know that. I only reload it once and only if its all i got and i need to shoot.

Edit: I stand Corrected they can be reloaded more than once or twice. http://forums.handloads.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=20050&PN=1&TPN=1
