The last few weeks at the shop I've seen some crazy times on dates. I've been there 2.5 years & the quickest time I've seen was 100 days when efile went into effect. Usually 8-9 months is the average time frame 90% of the stamps we process. Over the last 2 weeks I've seen 2 stamps come in, in 4 & 5 months. Then this past Friday we had one back in 26 days. I've got other customers closing in on a year wait time. Who knows what's going on with wait times. I think they skip around so they can say their average wait time is X days.
