guess they read Dan Crenshaw's tweet about autonomy and relying on the US? Or maybe someone mentioned that if they were seceding, Trump could send in the Rangers and kill them all? Or maybe they couldn't agree on which SJW to print on their 85% recycled news print toiletpaper - currency combo bills?

This is an idea that has been around for a long time. And it makes sense for a lot of reasons. We, on the east side of the state (for 35 years), were constantly dismayed as the west side picked our governor and all key state positions. Yuck. Every time.
Here's what 2016 looked like by county. It lines up pretty well, no? There ARE some conservative counties in the west, but if you are touching Puget Sound, you are probably a lost cause. Something in the water.

That's pretty much what Oregon's map looks like too. We suffer the same nonsense. I blame I-5. It was the pipeline for California stupidity and any city or county it passes thru has been corrupted. The coast is mostly conservative/libertarian, as is everything on the dry side of the Cascades. The I-5 corridor picks the government.

Just saw on the news that Seattle had over 30 officers take early retirement last week.

One building had seen as many as 8 tenants move out since this started.

Tent city is over 100 tents.

The dominos are starting to line up for a potential ugly situation.

They’ve already had a name change from CHAZ to CHOP

After the CHAZ nonsense started last week it did get me thinking about seccession. If Texas and several other states said we we’re done could we leave as peacefully?

We’ll leave them WA, OR, just the coast of Cali (we’ll take a strip along the bottom to access ports on the Pacific) and VA and north of it is theirs. We would then control the air space over “fly over country.” We’d also have ports on both oceans and most of the farmland.
