The so called bee sting factor may or may not go right down the toilet when you are faced by an adversary who is enraged and on an adenalin high or who is whacked out on drugs or who is a mental case. Not everyone who gets shot turns and runs but yet the guy doing most of the talking, Mr. Hackathorn, makes it seem like it is a given they do just that. Generalizing is sometimes but not always a good thing.

They might as well be talking about the Kyle Rittenhouse case... A lot of lessons to be learned here and there!

If I had to make a choice, I'll choose accuracy over speed every time. But with practice, one does or should also improve their speed along with being accurate.
My combat instructor has a saying , slow is smooth, smooth is fast. I find it works from hand to hand to shooting and everything in between.

As I've gotten older, my speed has suffered as has my accuracy. Most of the ranges I use don't permit draw from a holster.

If you are fighting fair, you are trying to lose...

Sadly this seems to be the policy of many gun ranges. I'm sure it has to do with their perceived idea of range safety, or possibly due to how their insurance coverage dictates they do things.
