I'm not even worried about the 4 box limit anymore, the past few months they've had stuff in stock regularly. Not like a year ago where you had to be there at 5am if you wanted to get your hands on anything.

Our local Walmart isn't carrying any ammo at all. Every time In the last few months, there is less and less shotgun ammo on the shelves. So I think they are just selling off remaining stock and not going to stock any ammo anymore. The shelves that had the rifle ammo are bare. The shelves behind the counter that had the 22 ammo are bare.

Same here. My local Walmart has only 3 boxes of shot gun shells and nothing else.

Same with mine for almost three years with exception of 350 Legend and 16 gauge shot shells. Then about ten weeks ago they got about 10K rounds of AutoMatch and a good amount of 7.62X51, .223 REM, and a few other common types including .22WMR.

Ammo has been readily available in our small community and in nearby Lubbock. Prices are still high, but not quite as bad. 7.62x39 is available on the shelves last I saw. Typically I don‘t buy ammo except rimfire and shotgun, but I make it a point to regularly check on ammo supplies. Reloading supplies are still spotty at best.

    Gunz are icky.
Local store has been full of 9mm, 40, 45 auto calibers for some time now.
Revolver calibers such as 38Sp and 44mag once in a while.

22LR on most days. Just yesterday they had a bunch of 500rd green box Remington THUNDERBOLT for $47. About crapped my pants on that.
22WMR is spotty. It must sell fast. Kinda spendy at almost $20/box.
Can’t even remember when I last saw any .17cal stuff.
Rifle ammo varies. Tons of 5.56 and 308.
Not much Fudd stuff. When they get some its gone in a day.
    Some other calibers like .350L.
The one oddity is 30 Super Carry. Seen it in three different stores now. Isn’t selling.

Found a brick of Thunderbolt in an ammo can a while back that had $9.99 price tag on it.

    Downright nostalgic.

I just ordered 7mm-08, Hornady American Whitetail 139 grain from the Conroe Academy. It is for in-store pick up.

Just left Academy. They had .38 special 130fmj, not .357, but 357 Sig, & .40
    I got 2 boxes of .45 230gr. flat noise.
Plenty of 9mm and .556 and other rifle calibers.

I just picked up 4 bx of .38 spec. No .357 mag though. I think I’ve only seen it twice in the last two years. Not sure why they have .44 mag but can’t get .357 mag. Seems the .357 would be a more popular round...
