82 degrees is the forecast for Christmas here in Austin. That’s just wrong!!

Lived through four German winters, then moved to Texas for three years. Left to live in Belgium for three more winters, then got my ass back to Texas where we've been for nearly 11 years now. I've had my share of snow, and the few times I see it anymore (I was in Grafenwöhr, Germany last January for work), it only reminds me why I live someplace that doesn't have it!

To quote Daniel Tosh, "Yeah, I like seasons too. That's why I live in a place that skips the shitty ones!"

Grafenwöhr, the HQ for my last duty station in 1973.
At the time was CO of a Hawk missile unit in Hohenfels.
Bn HQ in Graf ... at the time was mostly Cav units.

I'm from Montana and really miss the snow and having a white Christmas. Last night I had this link playing and maximized on my large flat screen TV at home. And today it’s playing in the background on my monitor here at work to enjoy once in a while.
