Throw on a Vortex Diamondback scope and you'll be good to go. It's an inexpensive scope, but is by no means a cheap scope. You'd probably have to tack on an extra $150-$200 to find a truly better scope. I love mine.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MSJP2J...jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==I saw that. My credit card is about to get dinged. Any suggestions for a good scope mount?
Well, dadgummit...I didn't get my rifle.
My local gun store in Waco put the order in correctly, but somehow the rifle just did not get shipped and the order was cancelled by the distributor. So, I've got a scope, a bipod, and a cheek rest with no rifle.
So, now I gotta figure out what to do next. I want to patronize my local gun shops to keep them in business, but I've not had good luck with online sales with the exception of Cabela's (their service has been awesome for me thus far, so I don't mind paying them a little extra).
Also, do you know how expensive Creedmoor ammo is?! I may try to go with something that fires less expensive ammo.
Love to see that happen....but he's a lefty.I just so happen to have a Ruger American Predator.....

Did you lose your/any money? If not, then no big deal: Just order another...
In 15+ years of online ordering, gunbroker, and lgs ordering, I've only had 3 mishaps. 1 was a fraudulent seller on gunbroker, and twice simple shipping errors. Out of well over 100 firearms transactions (maybe twice that many, not 100% sure) I think that's a pretty good ratio.
The key to inexpensive rifle ammo is to roll your own. ~$0.20-0.40 each, with the most expensive component being the approximately $8k in presses and tools But with a more restrained hand than I have, you can actually get into it for about $200... from there, the most expensive component is the projectile...
Reloading isn't for everyone, but over the years I've seen more than a few unenthusiastic reloaders find great enjoyment in it after they get into it a bit...
