We are going to fire up the rifles this time. Look for the flags over on that side of the range.

Houston Area Shoots are the second Saturday of the month. Shooting starts @ 10am and ends around noon. Lunch will follow.

We will meet at the rifle range. Look for the flying TGO flags and white Ford dually with the over-sized Benelli sticker on the back.

I'm in Huntsville on the weekends, so whatever is up North. There is Shooters Station in Conroe, which I avoid entirley on the weekends, what used to be Gun Emporium, I have not been there since they changed hands, and Thunder Range I think in New Caney. I have not been there, have not heard much good about it.
Additionally there is Lion Star shooting range just down the road, but I think it's just indoor, and only 6 bays.

I live a couple of blocks away, so I don't see how I could miss it. Will you be at the 50yd or 100yd range? Or does someone think they are Danial Boone and setup on the 300yd? ;)

I will look for the flag.

Smitty...the next Houston shoot (June 12) will be at the Gun Emporium.

100yds is more of a hip shot. At 300yds you should be fine with just iron sights...

(just stirring it up a bit)

I have not tried any of the longer range areas at HSC, but I am willing to learn.
