you have to shoot the 1000 yds first to make adjustments Foo!
I know a guy that shoots a TRG42 in .300 Win Mag out to 1000, but I'm not sure when I could get ahold of him.
72.1 gr of Hodgedon 4831sc, 165 gr Hornady SST, CCI 250 LRM primer, 1.50 Scope height, ambient temp 80 F, Elev 500 ft, Approx 2900 FPS. I used POINTBLANK Ballistics software and got -377.00" drop at 1000 yards at 150 yard zero.
Actually no. You need to know basic trajectory and how much MOA of travel your scope has before you even get out there.

I just want to have my ducks in a row before I overshoot and allow the liberal media to destroy a good range's reputation.
May 22nd 1000 yard open shoot. $30.00 gets you in. You start at 100 yards and keep going back in 100 yard increments until you reach 1000. This way you can write everything down from actual engagements (DOPE). The range is by WACO. Tiger Valley. You guys who have wanted to try it should show up, so we can take turns spotting. I've never done it before and could probably use the guidance too..
