I will put my stock 3.5 f150 against any stock 5.0 f150
the 2.7 is a fine and plenty powerful engine for the bronco.
V8's are not what they used to be. The only + is the sound you get and for me I gave up on loud pipes a few years ago.
Silence is golden.
To get the v6 your looking at 50K to start.
The wildtrak starts at 48k hence the 50K starting point.48/51, but it looks like you need the WildTrak. Not sure if v6 is option at lower trim levels. Good article on pricing for all models.

You haven't driven a Camaro SS with the V8.V8's are not what they used to be.

I'm sure they are, but probably not compared to a modern V8. As great as modern turbo engines are, there is no replacement for displacement.
Really? This the most capable 4x4 in 35+ years. Go look at the spec sheet for all the improvements and features.
The IFS will be better for everything other than serious rock crawling. You'll have to swap stuff out for that anyways.I bet it's a bit of a pig too, making it top heavy and easy for roll overs with IFS.
It's available on all trims. https://www.ford.com/cmslibs/conten...crossovers/bronco/pdf/21_Bronco_lineup_HR.pdfNot sure if v6 is option at lower trim levels.
I’m the opposite, I like body-on-frame for off road.
These will kill a V8, even a modern one comparing torque at low RPM. The Ecoboost motors make legit torque down low where needed.
The 2.7 will likely produce peak torque at 2000 RPM and carry it nearly to reline where as a 5.0 Coyote V8 will not peak until around 4000RPM.

540, that's cute. The 2.7 Ecoboost has been dyno'd at 540 HP with mods. So it should handle the 1/4 mile with ease.
