Remember when Rolling Stone was the magazine to read for anything to do with rock and roll?

My brother use to read it many years ago. He would dump off his after he read them for me to pick up.

I haven't read it in many, many years.

#1 Echoes by Pink Floyd is one song I can listen to any time & place & really enjoy. After it there are all kinds of tunes I associate with good times from my life. Highway star by Deep Purple is a great tune to be behind the wheel to. Robin Trowers Bidge of Sighs has tons of memories. Great concert preformances I had seen in my youth.

I guess it depends on your definition of Classic Rock, but here goes for 60s-70s:

    Whole Lotta Love
    Satisfaction
    Purple Haze
    Sunshine of Your Love
    Running with the Devil
    You Really Got Me

Your list was from when I was 18+ A great time to be picking up punk chicks! Drinking age was even lowered to 18 were I lived. Then new wave happened & girls became more materialistic.
Search and Destroy and Kick Out the Jams were in the sixties. A lot of the covers were written in the sixties as well;)
