Sound like a candidate for a 72 hour vacation with those nice people in white coats.

IIRC This officer had been in trouble a couple of years ago for turning his dash cam off during a stop and beating the crap out of a suspect.

What a f**king d-bag!!! Unbelievable!!!! The level of ignorance he displayed is mind boggling. HIS officer is a P.O.S.(and violated someone's rights) and he is blaming a guy who was obeying the law??? This guy's IQ is for sure below 70.

Lol Schulman explaining we don't know anything about his city.

I know everything I need to from his little speech and the behavior of that officer about the City of Canton. I will never step foot in that city and I will do everything I can to make sure not one cent of my money enters the pockets of it's residents.

I hope the cop never carries a badge again. Mr. Allen Schulman evidently has no clue about this whole 'Constitution' thingy.

He clearly has an agenda. Says carrying concealed in a high crime area is a bad thing. HUH? that's the very place you would want to carry and the whole principal behind being able to defend yourself. Granted avoiding such places in the first place goes a long way in the scheme of keeping safe, but sometimes it can't be avoided.

This explains some things if the attitude is prevalent in city management and the police force. I mean wow, what a piece of shit. I know there have to be good LEO's in canton but this guy's attitude makes you wonder

This is a dupe post. Original here: http://www.texasguntalk.com/forums/...g-range/25657-failure-notify-canton-ohio.html
Comments about the incident should be put there for continuity.

However I think the City Councilman's comments are fair game for a new topic.

    1) Was "excoriating" on his Word of the Day calendar?

    2) 1:30am in a crime ridden neighborhood is EXACTLY when I may need my firearm most, you moron.

    3) "I am not against weapons, I am not against handguns..." bullshit.

well I been following this as it appears out on web. with that said as of right now the officer is on sick leave is what they are calling it. I hope this Jerk off get prison time and If i was the man in the car I would sue the cop and the city for a number of wrong doings that so called cop did first off after he made the comment" I should have taking 2 steps back and pulled my glock 40 and put 10 rounds in you and watch you drop and I wouldnt loose sleep over it" The man in car could have shot the cop and more than likely been justified cause the cop infact did make a terroistic threat with a firearm. not once but twice the second comment made was" I outta pull my gun and shoot you in the mouth" but all in all I hope the dirtbag gets in prison cause he will be bubba's bitch lmao and hope it gets out that he is a used to be cop and gets puts in general population ohhhhh Karma is a bitch isn't it lol.....

WTH are you smoking? Are you seriously advocating he or anyone else draw on and shoot a LEO because he's being a douche? You need to back off this kind of talk.

Things I learned in this thread:

1.) Sometimes bad cops come from bad leadership directing and tolerating them.
2.) People generally don't like bad cops.
3.) Good cops REALLY don't like bad cops!
4.) NRA Certified Instructors publicly advocate shooting a cop for being a dumbass.
(you may want to change your avatar to avoid disgracing the whole NRA if you're gonna talk tough like that, chief!)

Should be fired and should never be allowed to work in law enforcement again. He seems to have a problem with rage. You never know he might get really pissed one day and actually end up shooting an innocent person.

I've been to Canton. The Pro Football Hall of Fame is there. (It's surprising how small the stadium is.) Other than that, if they burned the city to the ground, nobody would miss it. A classic example of a Rust-Belt town run by unions and Democrats.

Yep. With as blatant as that cop was about it in public and in front of another cop, it's got to be a leadership issue IMO.

Anybody else think the cop needs to piss in a cup? His actions went beyond just rage... there was something really unnatural about what he did that night.
