No wind this morning. About as perfect conditions as you could hope for.

It cracks me up when it's windy and hot and someone in a car pulls up at a light and says "hey, I bet your glad to have the wind with it being so hot" uh, not so much...

Well my daily riding for work has come to an end. Loved what I did, just could no longer do it for the people I worked for. So on to new things, more money is in the works so that’s always good.

A few days before I took my bike home, I noticed these cracks in the real wheel, at least four of them. I’m not a ‘ride it like you stole it’ rider but I’m also far from a Sunday cruiser. I would occasionally jump smaller stuff and being a heavier rider, I assume is what caused these….any recommendations for new wheels? Possibly looking to go with carbon.

Seeing as the bike is under a year old, I’ll try to see if there is any kind of warranty.

Didn't get to ride tonight because I left my wheels in the pit at the race this weekend, thankfully it was promoted my my old boss so he brought them back to Austin.

Out at the Drivewayseries.com watching the racing and about to have a cold beer.

Got two nice rides in this weekend. I can hardly believe it is late July already as nice as the weather is. It was warm going up the climbs especially with a light tail wind on a few, but it is the nicest summer I can remember.

The Grenada Hills loop is pretty tough with a bunch of steep (5-8% mostly, but one that is 15%) climbs that come one after another with no rest in between. It is GREAT training but it removes any pride in your ability unless you are REALLY fit.

Well. Who would have thought the next ride I got was going to be in Omaha?

A little hillier than Lincoln. Caught a cold when I got home Wednesday. Did not get a Texas ride in. Was planning on riding Walnut Creek on Sunday but got a call Friday to go back to another site in Nebraska so here I am for the week.

Woke up with a gnarly headache. This is what a ride with a gnarly headache looks like. Headache subdued after ride.
@cycleguy2300 my app just gives total elevation change. I divide that by 2 and I think I am in the ballpark. About 1000’-1500’ of climb between the two rides. ( unless I am just doing democrat math)
