Taxes on ammo, special tagging on cases to identify the buyer, restrictions on selling ammo, cutting lines of credit for firearms dealers, etc. - all these things are designed to choke guns out of the hands of American citizens. Look for reloading component restrictions next.

And people wonder why manufacturers aren't adding additional production lines, considering that they can't produce nearly enough for the current rate of consumption. Ammo manufacturers are scared to death that they will be put out of business by the Commiecrats.

As for the Republicans who go along with this crap, hanging's too good for them. They should be forced to live in New Jersey or something equally awful.

All of it’s as much worth as a fart in the wind.
Until the law passes and they enforce it. Then tell me just how difficult that fart in the wind blowing into your face made it for you to breath the air of a socialist aMerika as opposed to once upon a time constitutional republic United States of America. The assault weapons ban was the same right - just a fart in the wind - until it passed into law! The SAFE ACT in NY must have been likewise - right. The bump stock ban much the same - all just farts inn the wind. Wake up because those farts are deadly.

Laws don't have much power if no one is willing to abide by them.

So, do you think people will openly sell ammunition in violation of this law? Tell me how many dealers will need be arrested and have their FFLs pulled before they all shit in their pants in compliance. Better yet, do it historically: How many violated the assault weapons ban and how many assault weapons (as per that law) were you able to buy from dealers during the time it was in effect? Yu can bet your bottom dollar people will abide by them instead of losing their businesses/livelihoods. Of course, once can hope folks will already have enough ammo for a revolution that seems to be coming if not already here.

Probably quite a few violated that law actually.

Let me ask you, what happens when you outlaw a previously legal industry? It goes underground. Why would this be any different? If people want something bad enough, the law becomes irrelevant and they'll just get it illegally. As far as outlawing private sales of ammo, that is completely and utterly unenforceable.

Very similar to the same restrictions that were passed in California.
And don't stop a single criminal.
The online sellers will quit selling. Do you see anyone in California getting online ammo directly? Or magazines? Or guns?
    Online? Nope.
But all they have to do is drive to another state and buy what they want. Or have it delivered to someone and go pick them up.
Are they searching every vehicle crossing the State line? If not, it's a worthless law.

Exactly. There has never been, nor will there ever be any gun control law written that will stop a criminal from getting a gun or ammo if they desire to have them.

Gun control laws are pitched to the public as a means to control, or deter criminals, or criminal actions, which are nothing more than a smoke-screen to deceive the public into supporting more gun control laws. This is simply just more of the same nonsense.

Criminals are not the objective, and have never been the objective. Control of law-abiding gun owners are the objective.

I agree with everything you posted, however, all I meant was how little I value gun control.
