Part of the problem is that liberals act as a bloc - collectivism is their goal, and it's how they operate. The only issue (thank God) I've seen any of them break ranks on is gun control, and then it's only because they know they'll lose seats in certain constituencies if they vote in favor of more restrictions. Unfortunately, their recent engineered "victories" in Georgia may embolden more of them to risk the voters' disapproval. Especially now that it's been demonstrated the Democrat party can sidestep election laws without repercussion.

Oh yeah, it def worked in Chicago/DC. Lol. I had a friend from DC, he referred to it as the murder capital of America. That is sad and should say a lot of how gun control doesn't work.

It does indeed. But antis are not listening to any facts/data. It's all emotion driven by the latest catastrophe. That is how gun ban/restrictions came about in UK and Australia IIRC.

Yeah, sadly so much of politics has nothing to do with facts... it has everything to do with emotions and who can put more in your pocket.

That is what drives politics and politicians. When battling them, for or against, we need to remember that.

Fighting emotion with facts does no good. We need strategies that apply emotion. Not just to the politicians, but to the populace too. Culture before politics.

We also need our own Soros... a guy on our side with vast numerous buckets of cash.

No, what is being promulgated in the university/college classroom by "intellectuals" is the issue. I don't know or care how it is done, but society needs to rid itself of these jerks that have so much time on their hands that they dream up crap like "Critical Race Theory" or "You can't be racist if you don't have the power" to pound into the heads of young skulls full of mush.



Please don't tell me that you honestly think that what is being taught in k-12 today is the same as what was taught historically.

If I were to accept your first assertion, I would have to say that it hasn't been true for quite awhile. Children are no longer being prepped to enter the working world (what's wrong with that? The non-worker bees can go to college, but society still needs workers/plumbers/electricians/AC techs/hairdressers, etc. What we don't need is so many coders and eggheads, or people with worthless degrees.). Instead, they are being armed with marxist ideas, and sent out to do battle to end capitalism, climate change, systemic racism, and whiteness.

Public education, especially at the federal level, needs to be done away with. It is a tool of collectivism and authoritarianism. Just because you might have agreed with the flavor of collectivism and authoritarianism at one point doesn't mean it is positive or just.

No, I don't and never have. Therefore, I MIGHT not be a commie, nor a commie lover, nor a commie lovin fool. My point was that the school system we have now is so much worse than the one we had. But IMO not all public funding or providing of services = a negative form of collectivism.

However, I attended a Catholic grade school. The nuns might have been authoritarian, but I was 3yrs ahead of the public school class I attended after I was kicked out for being a troublemaker. You have a problem with authority too???

I wouldn't be against doing away with the public version of an education system. But not w/o building up more private schools first. Seems as tho society at large benefits from at least a minimally educated citizenry. You're not in favor of an ignorant populace are you?

However, I would be much MORE in favor of doing away with public universities, public funding of universities, grants to universities, etc.

You're even more cynical than me. The sad thing is you're probably right. If that particular legislative proposal were truly understood, it would have already been included in someone's submitted bill.
