Since I never refer to my handguns as a she or her (they are much more reliable than any a female gender) I’ll reference one as a King. What are you most proud to own currently and why?

What safe? My most-proud-of is a Stainless Speed Six snub in .357! My boys found and gave it to me last summer...I'd been looking for a clean one for over 30 years. Since then, I've found its twin. Now I'm gonna sit back and watch the ladies tie a can to your tail about reliable....

Welcome to the forum! I love my Colt Defender with the laser grip!

The Colt Defender is one of Colts most late greatest models. I have two. One is factory ported in 45ACP (under 200 made) and another non-ported Defender in .40 caliber. Both are considered a catch. Here is the ported one.

A C96 Mauser my father picked up (as the senior enlisted man, he had first pick among everything the Japanese surrendered) in China with the 1st Marine Division after WWII. He was on Okinawa getting ready to invade Japan; due the the Japanese surrender, they were sent to China instead.

My mid-1943 UNISSUED/UNFIRED Colt's Commando .38SPL, that was given to a private military academy during WWII, sold at auction in 1980 & sold to me by an AL pawn shop in 1982.
It's about as NEW as a >75YO revolver can be.
    yours, satx

Those two would definitely fit the profile as true collectors keepers.

    Enigma57,

ALL of my friends thought that I was NUTS when I paid 100.oo cash OTD for the Commando. ---- I had some TDY money "burning a hole in my pocket" that day.
(MONEY won't buy it & it is willed to my 2YO adopted son, NATHAN PAUL.)

    yours, satx
