The last time this happened earlier this year, it was a challenge to hunt TP and paper towels for at least 1 month.

Once the prices came down in the summer and supply was up I made sure to buy enough for 2 months and put it in storage in my gun room for when it happened again... Obviously, it is, and we are ready.

Last time around I learned my lesson so I’ve been stockpiling and now keep enough TP on hand to last through the next election. Every time we open pack, we can usually find a mom ‘n pop place out in the sticks where we can replace as we go.

Been keeping the cardboard tubes around so we can re-spool once components return to normal. I guess if it gets bad enough, we can just separate paper towel (PT) layers, cut to fit, and then re- spool on the tp rolls. We can usually get rour rolls of TP from one roll of PT.

I have always had a supply, it is just a little bigger now. Never had to go and buy a cart load to achieve it either. Just bought a reasonable amount with groceries each time.

I went to the grocery store while ago to buy a gallon of 2% milk & the ingredients for a Butter/Yellow cake for this week.

"Sonia", one of the checkers who I know casually (She & Ellie, my former housemate were BGF.), asked me, "NO Toilet Paper, Tex?"
I said, "Didn't need any."
And Sonia responded, "Well you are one of the FEW who is not buying LOTS of TP & paper towels."

That is what kills me - NONE of the people for socialism think the bad stuff will apply or happen to them. Remember when AOC made noises about someone needed to regulate air travel, that is, make a determination as to whether or not a trip required air travel. When asked who would regulate it, she said it would be a government group. Oh yes, a group you vote yea or nay on their budget so government officials will always get approved for air travel.

Personally, I think anyone that condones, advocates or promotes any type of socialist, communist, or Marxist values, or ideology, should be shipped to one of those countries for a year, and live in that environment.

I think their viewpoints and opinions of that way of life would be altered drastically.

Wife went to Tom Thumb in Garland and they had plenty of TP and it was on sale.

We don't horde any thing and only buy what we need st the time. We've never had an issue finding TP at all for the entire year.
