4-8 years to have a vaccine. Yes a guess. 12-18 months is fantasy.
Life may take that long to return fully to normal.
A tough concept to accept.

Colleges may not convene next fall.
UT football won't happen to stadiums full of fans.
ACL music fest (My fave event with my daughter) won't happen.
There will be no Super Bowl in Tampa in February.
We are at the baby-steps phase.

Will be a long long time to resume normalcy.

Read up the thread. The numbers are out for the quarter. Science and the medical establishment FAILED. Not only did they fail the American People but the medical profession as well for a nonexistant disaster.
At no time did any hospital in Texas, or almost anywhere for that matter, even come close to having to turn away patients. They even broke the very first tenant of the medical profession to first do no harm.
I could go on, but you would still be an idiot. We are not as stupid as you or as stupid as you think.
And IF, a big if, you are a physician and I wound up in your hospital by some stroke of bad luck, if your treatment of patients is as a never wrong godlike creature you portray yourself to be, not just NO but HELL NO. I would DEMAND another physician.
The patient is paying for a professional opinion, just like a lawyer or mechanic, not for someone to make decisions for them. You aren't man enough to make decisions for my life. I REALLY wish you were man enough to give a name or at least a hospital you work at so it could be avoided at all costs.
