I 3d printed some masks for fun. Got to where I can take a couple of measurements and create a semi-custom fit. I can also warm it up a little and mold it. I got a really good seal using silicone and weather strips. The filters are made from merv 13-merv 16 air filter material.

Looks good. I've read about a nurse doing something similar. She had hers tested at a lab and they came back at 98% - 99%, so better than a N95. But it doesn't look like you have many square inches of material for airflow. How heavy can you breathe through one of your masks? Is there enough airflow to allow heavy breathing like somenone running after a kid about to wander across the parking lot and get hit?

I can breath pretty well in it. I haven't exercised in it.

Would you mind sharing the STL file? Ive had some time at home recently and I finally got my kids 3d printer dialed in and printing properly.

You should go take a quick jog in one to see if the filter area needs to be increased any, then start selling them.

Those look pretty good, and for those who aren't trained in wearing PPE, as our good dentist pointed out, then having a rigid mask you can grab and adjust without sticking your fingers inside the cloth masks like everyone does, is actually a much, much safer mask for those looking for one.

The only weak part of your design is the weatherstripping for when they wash it, but you can just tell them that needs to be replaced as often as the filter.

I could use those as all-on-4 guides.
