This is 100% my crazy mind wondering something but maybe the old English habit of tea time had roots in something more beneficial. From my reading it sounds like the asymptomatic folks are speeding it through the virus living in their throats... so what if drinking a cup of piping hot liquid (why not coffee, too) down your throat every couple of hours would help kill some of the virus or at least slow it down?

Or gargle with antiseptic mouthwash..

Dallas county has lots of beds and like 750 vents unused so folks are wondering why an emergency hospital is set up there.

Oh come on now, if at the exact instant an airborn droplet of corona viruses loaded spittle hit your toung and lodged in your throat you swallowed boiling tea cause some retard britt was traveling the south and offered you some tea and since its the south you thought he must mean iced tea but because hes a britt it was actually hot tea and you took a big gulp saturating that droplet in boiling liquid and caused second degree burns you can't possibly say that absolutely positively that wouldn't lower your chance of getting infected from that one droplet of corona virus in your throat.
