Funny story about that metal. I went out to my wife's uncle's place in the country to dump some yard debris in his burn pile and started talking to him about the best way to make a raised bed garden, he took me out behind his shop and he had a bunch of siding etc. from his company (that I work for) that burned down in 1981. They were 3' wide 31" tall panels that probably came from the soffits. I cut them in half with an abrasive blade to use them. I don't know how long they'll last but I've got a pile of spares. It's a lot thicker than regular roofing tin.

Line it with plastic. Keep the wet dirt off the panels?

Debating whether it's too early to put the tomatoes in the ground. There's always that one last frost. Tomorrow might be a good day.

From 250 tomato plants, to four.
In the EarthBoxes to the far left of the photo.
And, I'll have to battle the squirrels and mocking birds constantly.
    Urban life ...meh.

Black Spot. It's a fungus. Clip any affected leaves then spray on a fungicide on the whole plant. Neem Oil works well.

I'm trying 1 part milk to 2 parts water. Sprayed on the plant. Milk is supposedly an effective fungicide. We shall see how it works.

The milk works. I've been mixing 50/50. Whole milk. Sprayed the entire rose and the area of the ground below it.

Sprayed after every rain lately. Removed any infected leaves. It's cut the fungus down by more then half. If it'd stop raining for more the three days, the fungus would be gone...

It's not a garden but I don't know where to put this.

The last freeze destroyed two hibiscus, a fern, and the wandering Jew.

I saved the golden pathos and went hydroponic.

The cuttings have been rooted in somewhat large vases. Two vases. Two outlet air pump. Two simple aquarium air stones.

I added some hydroton balls to the top of water. Then took panty hose knee highs, offered up from the GF. About a tablespoon of some compost I've been cooking up. To each girly sock.

Balled up twisted. Stuck in the water. Bing, "Compost Tea".

Took a bamboo skewer. Dipped it into black strap molasses. Dunked that into the plants water. Bing, "horticulture molasses".

Now, I gotta hit up goodwill for more vases. Maybe a fish bowl. They shouldn't be in clear glass. So any decorative jug would work. As long as it can hold water.

Golden Pathos can take heavy trimming. Growing in a hydroponic, Compost Tea....they're are gonna explode. Which is good.

I want the rain forest look in the living room.
