https://www.atf.gov/file/4241/downloadThe definition of “adjudicated mental defective” IS. The detailed instructions that is in fine print contraindicates the verbiage (the part that says “ever” ) in the question.
I am still trying to figure out if my dad is a prohibited person now or not after being hospitalized this past February after a medication reaction.LOL.
Reminds me of those threads where the convicted felon is not sure if he is a convicted felon or not.
LOL.

ATF plant? Anyone??
Except a convicted a felon is totally different. The ATF needs to be abolished, I have to go through all this red tape simply because I had thoughts of suicide 4 years ago?
Like a convicted felon, you know if a judge forcibly committed you or not.
Read detailed instructions for 11f and see if it is clear as mud.

Like a convicted felon, you know if a judge forcibly committed you or not. And it was only 4 years ago? I can remember if the principal sent me to detention or not and that was 40 years ago.

Look at the detailed exception at the bottom of page 4 and top of page 5.
Look specifically at b.
If you are no longer required to have mandatory mental health treatment you qualify for the bold part at the bottom of that section, I quote:
“Persons who fall within one of the above exceptions should answer "no" to question 11.f.”
I agreed to getting help.
my confusion is with that it says “ever” in the actual question. So where is the confusion since you obviously can read and conclude what it says?
It’s like asking a question “Have you EVER dyed your hair blonde?” But then telling you to answer no if you did once but your hair is no longer dyed blonde now.
