I see this at Walgreen's when purchasing beer or wine. I'm a gray haired old man and they card me every time. Also, their 18 yo clerks can't sell alcohol. They have to be 21.I was waiting in line at a convivence store in North Carolina. The very old man in front of me was buying a 6 pack. The clerk made him show his ID. I guess the law in NC requires that you can prove your age at the time of purchase. The clerk told me that she would get fined and fired if he didn't have proof on him.
