Did you try different ammo in the M9 or is it HV only? Looks cool but wonder if it's picky with the ammo.

Fired it with CCI Tactical, Federal Auto Match, Remington Thunderbolts, CCI velocitor ammo today.
They all functioned okay excpet for the Auto Match.
There were a number of low powered rounds so had a few failures to fully cycle the slide with that ammo.
Accuracy was okay will all of them.

Handled a Remlin Marlin 336W at Academy. The wood furniture fit seemed decent. The flat blued finish is bleh but that's going to be the case on a rifle priced $399 I guess.

The gun counter manager thought I was full of it that Remington bought Marlin....

Decent show.

Held a Ruger Wrangler then remembered that it isn't 1840 so I put it back down.

Resisted a 6.5 Grendel again too.

Bought some powder.

7k axles / 14k GVWR

A bit more than my tow rating, but it’s under 4K empty so I’ll just have to be mindful of my load.

Maker's Mark on tap tonight.

Took care of a bunch of honey dos today and then detail stripped my SKS tonight and took the SKS Scout Mount off that came with it. I tried mounting my RDS on it and I had to get a chin weld to be able to see the dot. That dog ain't gonna hunt so off it went and into the black hole known as the parts box.

I did also manage the launch the spring guide assembly across the room which was cool.
