That trailer empty is gonna be pretty hard on your truck.

If you are going to be pulling it a lot it may be time to upgrade.

How long is that one? My Son-in-law bought one a month or so back, think he said 26'. Helped him buy a new truck to pull it, giant Dodge dually diesel. He's doing okay with his start up but working dawn to dark 7 days/wk. He had a little go cart with a parachute on top he sold to buy the trailer. Tried to get me up in it, not a chance.

That trailer empty is gonna be pretty hard on your truck.

If you are going to be pulling it a lot it may be time to upgrade.

It’s only ~3800 lbs empty, but I definitely need to be mindful of tongue weight (payload) and trailer weight, since my tow rating is 9,100 lbs

Won’t be towing too often, mostly for demo at the start of projects.
But yeah, my next truck will be a 3/4 ton.

Ah gotcha, he uses it for hauling rock for driveways, hauls off debris from pasture clearing. That skid steer with this big grinder makes quick work of it. But he does all sorts of jobs. His isn't new and shiny like that one but he ripped out a rotton deck I had and hauled it off in under an hour. Would have taken me days, hope I dont get stuck with the payment on that big ass truck though .

Worth it though.
Had an 18' we backed into every garage where we did remodels.
As long as you can close the door, you don't need to get around the back.
Saved on dumpster fees, neighbors using it for kitchen garbage, and, best of all ... POA/municipal restrictions.
