My first dear gun, a .243, has a Redfield variable power. Can't remember the objective size. It's fine, not great. I don't know the model or where it falls in the spectrum of their lineup. My $150 Vortex rimfire seems better.Nobody has mentioned Redfield.
They're binoculars are nice. I've never owned one of their scopes. You'd figure there'd be a Redfield fan lurking the board. Letting us know what's up.
Redfield has been made by Leupold for a few years now. I believe they carry Leupold's warranty and quality now.My first dear gun, a .243, has a Redfield variable power. I am a huge fan of Vortex - good glass for the $ and a transferable lifetime warranty that can't be beat. For the price, I have been very happy with Vortex.
Is that kinda like Eotech vs. Aimpoint? No Barska fans?

Not at all.Is that kinda like Eotech vs. Aimpoint?
It was a joke aimed at Younggun. Not at all.
It's more like should I get a scope or just take a shit on the scope rail.
Mine too.It was a joke aimed at Younggun.
Mine too.
He loves him some Barska.
Vortex & Sig Sauer are great options. Both have great value for the price and glass that is better than Nikon and Leupold. Both also have lifetime warranties.I have a buddy I work with. He is getting ready to buy a Savage Stealth. He asked me for a scope recommendation for $800 max. That puts him in the Burris range IMHO. But that's all I know. I'm not very familiar with the other brands. I highly value ya'lls opinion. What would ya'll choose at $800?
He's going to want a BDC reticle. He will not be shooting dope.
MOA or MILS. It doesn't matter.
It's for a 6.5CM
Thank you
I know Vortex's is transferable, is Sigs? Both also have lifetime warranties.
