Been scouting and grassing in my blind all morning, time for a lunch break. It's funny I get better signal out here than I do at home.

The wife and I are gearing up to pull out Wednesday for a few days at the lease.
One tag remaining for the lease. Saving it for her to bag her first ever.

    Happy Thanksgiving ...

Back from the deer lease, boys. Took a big bodied, basket rack ugly 7 pt, and a big, aged doe. Both taken with my Ruger American .30-06.

Shot at a large rio grande thunder chicken with my AR, never found it. I'm now 0-3 on turkey attempts. Bringing my freaking shotgun next time.

Also shot at a doe, first thing out there. Shot out of the truck, rushed the shot, and missed.

Great time was had by all. Back to SWLA this afternoon after I go to church with my aunt n uncle.
