158 grain, 357 projectile in a .45 acp case!
Well, the worms in my brain took control...
Was searching for some .223 to .308 sabots, and stumbled across some for 38 to 45. Just couldn't resist.
There were a few .357 rounds hiding my stash, and figured what the hell, and pulled a projectile from one, and bought a bag of the sabots.
It all pressed together nice & tight.
Question is, what powder, and charge weight?
This is for my AR45, so the weapon has plenty of strength.
Haven't bought bullets yet. Thinking hollow points may blow apart on impact, so probably will go with soft points, or hard cast stuff, as I have about 40 lbs. of Linotype metal (or so the seller claimed).
