Cleaned up the reloading area and the bench and got started mounting the new press. I also realized I forgot to get the damn bullet tray. I'm a bit worried as they changed the case feeder mounting bracket the case feeder might hit the upper part of the bench.

Tumbled and Prepped 40 cases for the 257. Sorted the 243 Ackley brass. Filled some 50 round plastic Berry’s boxes with 25-284s thought about loading some 308 but then realized I don't need any more for a while.

In the last week I loaded about 850 cast 380s. Got them all boxed up in their beat little repack boxes. Had equal amount of brass and bullets so it worked out good. At least, after the 3-4% that get crushed by my powder die it worked out even...

I tried ok out the 380 turret and carrier and started to setup for 9mm but the shell plate wasn't turning. Tried adjusting it a few times but it was still giving me shit. I pulled it apart and replaced the gears but then started doing something else.

Today I went to the range with my father in law and 2 buddies from work. Wouldn't you know it, they don't reload.... So I walked away with 3 more peoples brass for 45 and 9.

I shoot some old 223 reloads but they were really sooted. I think I just didn't have a stout enough charge. If I remember right it was only 22.5gr h335. They shot fine though. Got to pop off a few handfuls of 9, 380, and 45 as well though.

I have been depriming and washing brass like crazy
I deprimed about 400 / .223 over the past few days and about 50% were crimped so I removed the crimp all in one session.
I've also been wet tumbling almost everything.
Right now I have about 100 /.338 and 50/.243 cases in the wet tumbler
I dont really intend to load all of it anytime soon, but just got tired of seeing it sit there in the way.

BTW, here is how I remove the crimp when I have alot of them to do
I chuck up the reamer tool/drill adapter into my drill press and get after it.
It's the fastest way to do it and you can be very consistent with the process.

But seriously, merry New year to everyone.

I took some more time and went over my pro1000 yesterday. When I switched carriers from 380 to 9mm I didn't notice that the shell plate wasn't screwed on securely. Apparently the action rod was turning but just not the shell plate. It was easy to figure out once I figured it out. Couldn't believe it was something so simple.

Gonna start cleaning brass from yesterday's range trip and then start loading 9s. I have 1200 primed brass already and expect another 300 or so from yesterday's bunch.
