I dont know why that should be "Huge News". Putting him back on the ballot if he filed an appeal was part of the CSC Decision/Order. He did so they did.

Going after AQ after 9/11 was not exactly a tough decision. Dems supported it too.

Hiow about Iraq? Still think Saddam was trying to get Yellowcake Uranium from Niger? Still think he had a nuclear weapons program? We literally invaded a country, got thousands of our soldiers killed and many more crippled, on bullshit.
Thousands of tons of yellowcake were shipped out of Iraq after the war. Even the liberal media reported on this.

    Yeah Really.

Removing spent yellowcake that US & UN knew about since 1991, had documented and locked up, is not the same thing as trying to procure new quantities for bomb production in the State of Union Address, to convince Americans we should go to war.

Wrong. These were not known stockpiles.

We aren't going to agree and this has sidetracked the thread enough.

If you want the last word, you are welcome to it.

    1) You continue to dodge the original questions - Still think Saddam was trying to get Yellowcake Uranium from Niger? Still think he had a nuclear weapons program?

    2) Yellowcake was there since Israel bombed the reactor in 1981.

    3) For you to be right, everyone else in the world has to be wrong.

    FactCheck.org

Q: Was it recently revealed that the U.S. found uranium in Iraq after the invasion in 2003?

A: No. Uranium recently shipped from Iraq to Canada was left over from Saddam Hussein’s defunct nuclear weapons program and had been in sealed containers, under guard, since the end of the first Gulf War in 1991.

    New York Times

The yellowcake removed from Iraq - which was not the same yellowcake that President George W. Bush claimed, in a now discredited section of his 2003 State of the Union address, that Saddam was trying to purchase in Africa - could be used in an early stage of the nuclear fuel cycle.

    Snopes

Tuwaitha and an adjacent research facility were well known for decades as the centerpiece of Saddam's nuclear efforts. Israeli warplanes bombed a reactor project at the site in 1981. Later, U.N. inspectors documented and safeguarded the yellowcake, which had been stored in aging drums and containers since before the 1991 Gulf War.

Isolationism just kicks the can down the road (re: WW2). Sooner or later it comes to your doorstep.

Saddam had provided sanctuary, aid and resources to the terrorists. He had a WMD program and that was a danger to all, just as Iran is today.

The economy was in great shape during W's terms. You need to check your facts. Regarding the housing bubble after he was out of office, W asked congress on 23 occasions to tighten up on Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, et al. He was ignored. We were warned.

People who demonize W always refuse to answer a question. Do you think that Al Qaeda planned to retire after 9/11? The hard and undisputable fact is that W protected the US from further attacks. That is putting America first.

Feel free to have the last word.

I already said I was for and had no problem going after Al Queda....and fucking hard too. We made headway and killed a shitload, but the big fish got away, for awhile anyway. In hindsight, continuing on and going to war in two countries, neither of which was ANY THREAT WHATSOEVER to the US or its sovereignty was a huge mistake. It's almost hard to believe that you think Saddam was even a meager threat to the US all this time later. I was for it then, but I learned it was the wrong move and am not afraid to admit it. There's the disconnect.

Based on your way of thinking, we should now be fighting in North Korea, Russia, China, Iran, Saudi Arabia, etc., etc., basically any country that hates us to keep it off of our "doorstep.". **** no, I'll pass. Like I asked, how'd Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan work out? Oh, yeah. We lost not only the wars, but trillions of dollars and thousands of American lives and got zip in return.

Take care of your own country first, protect your border and your populace, and use force and lot of it when absolutely necessary. Walk quietly and carry a big stick instead of spreading your police force all over the globe in places where it doesn't matter and will never make a difference, ever.

And if you think the economy wasn't crashing late in W's term, YOU need to check your facts. W and his dad were/are globalists and always will be and is the reason they hate(d) Trump, because he's America first.

And being the worlds Policeman puts all the burden on US taxpayers and lets the rest get off scott free.
This runs in parallel with the US shouldering the climate agenda while allowing China and others a free pass and subsidizing other countries

Interesting the SoS of Maine decided she was the judge and jury of Trump being on the ballot. But the Constitution states he MUST be indicted and have a trial. Same with Colorado and other states. Kicking out the Rep without a legal trial was stupid too. Pretty much a stupid and greedy population in the US anymore. >50% of workforce paid by taxes, 30% of pop. on some sort of Gov 'welfare', only 25% of workforce supporting the US economy.

President Grant signed this into law in 1872 and somehow everyone forgot.
Full Text, Amnesty Act 1872 May 22, 1872

CHAP. CXCIII - An Act to remove political Disabilities imposed by the fourteenth Article of the Amendments of the Constitution of the United States.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled (two-thirds of each house concurring therein), That all political disabilities imposed by the third section of the fourteenth article of amendments of the Constitution of the United States are hereby removed from all persons whomsoever, except Senators and Representatives of the thirty-sixth and thirty-seventh Congresses, officers of the judicial, military, and naval service of the United States, heads of departments, and foreign ministers of the United States.

    APPROVED, May 22, 1872

    (36th Congress 1859-1861, 37th Congress 1861-1863)
    And then 1898 as well.

In a presidential election you don't have to be on the ballot. You can write in anyone you want.
    1) In Presidential election, you are not voting for a Presidential candidate, you are voting for an elector. The elector must reside in the same state.

    2) For the primaries, write in votes for an ineligible candidate are not counted.

Let's' remove Biden from the Ballot in Texas for the treason committed on November 3rd, 2020 when the Democrats stopped the voting and counted ballots for two weeks to install the moron. The whole world knows Biden wasn't duly elected. We are living in a Banana Republic. The corruption goes deep - from the top down to the state level and in the municipal offices in big cities (Portland, Los Angeles, Chicago, Phoenix, Philadelphia, New York City, San Diego, San Francisco, Baltimore, Austin, Houston, Dallas-Ft. Worth, Seattle, etc).

Following the Dems logic, we would have every right to exclude any Texas Dem (and there are probably several) who made inflammatory statements about BLM related protests, Antifa taking over part of Portland, etc. This would be perfectly valid given the Dems definition of inciting insurrection.

by the same logic....let's go back to 2000 with Bush and Gore in Florida. the R's wanted a recount based on their exit polling, which they got, and then filed lawsuits to stop further recounts (once they were winning) based on what is or is not a valid vote if the chads were not completely punched out.
do we really need to down this road again?

as far as the whole world, I trust all the judges that rejected Trump's fraudulent claims. especially any Republican-leaning judges. ESPECIALLY any judges that HE appointed.

I'm laughing so hard right now. No logic in your reply. The whole world knows Trump won in 2020. Judges, Congress, The Senate, and many of the Judges at the State and municipal level, State Congresses, The DOJ, the FBI, the ATF - we've all seen the Treason committed in the last 3 years. Biden did not win the 2020 election. Biden was installed through manipulated Dominion voting machines and fake ballots. Funny how all those paper ballots were 100% for Joe Biden. No paper ballots for Trump.
