I’d like to present bump stocks, proudly brought to you by DJT.
Trump did that. He deserves blame for that. But that has nothing to do with the election that took place this week.

The more I read, the less I am surprised how we got where we are, and the worse I think it will get, and it surely isn’t because of some guy who owns some buildings.

If I thought Trump had a chance of beating the democrat candidate, any candidate, I would like to see him run in 2024. The problem is, I think he has become un-electable. Due in no small part to his post presidency actions, but in large part to how the democrats have smeared and demonized his name and anyone associated with him. For example, his backing of Memet OZ cost OZ the election, IMO.
Fetterman wasn't elected because he was the best candidate, he was elected because Trump backed OZ.

Right now DeSantis looks like the best chance of beating the democrat candidate. Unless Fetterman runs, lol.
No one has a chance to beat the dems if the cheating isn't fixed...

The cheating doesn't need to be millions of votes, it can be a few thousand in a few key places like 2020, that tip the scales.

Until we can secure the vote count, the candidates that run won't matter and neither will the number of votes for good candidates.

So, y'all agree with the Democrats.
    "Everything is Trumps fault"
My take on it has very little to do with fault. That would be an incredibly myopic perspective of a very broad landscape.

When Trump does something well, he grandstands. Hell yea. I like a solid win too. But when Trump fucks something up? He's like that douchecanoe who smashes his door into your new truck, and walks away hoping nobody noticed. If someone did notice, Trump employs the Shaggy defense. That weakens every single position going forward.

I want someone who walks away from mistakes doing three things: 1. Acknowledging and owning the misstep 2. Planning the followup. 3. Executing with renewed ferver. Trump obviously knows how to do this, but he often skips step 1. Worse, he sometimes employs a very different step 1 where the failure obviously couldn't have been his fault in any way shape or form, and comes out swinging at everyone in reach. That's a huge failure in leadership. This, Trump is obviously well known for.

Owning your shit makes you a strong leader. People will literally line up behind you to propel you forward.

Blaming everyone and everything else, not so much.

There is no valid reason for an election count to take days to obtain an accurate result.

Trumps negatives may exceed Hillary Clinton's. He will never win office again and will destroy all he touches. The sooner folks come to terms with that the sooner we can move on together.

Cause trumpvidians alone ARE NOT ENOUGH TO WIN ANY ELECTION PEROID. Conservatives will vote against him. Independents will vote against him. You need those people to win. You absolutely cannot win elections with extreme base of any party except in a few locations or instances. Not nationally. You definitely can not govern a country with the extremes of a base no matter how much we may agree with those people. Our country is specifically set up to be representative of all groups and checks and balances on entities. It's designed to constrain people. You need people who can cobble together coalitions then when they win appoint the best people to the important positions. That's how you run the country.

Trump did his part with judges and justices. That legacy is Huge.
Mitch McConnell deserves just as much or more credit for that.

If he goes to GA walker looses.

The entire world is experiencing inflation, not just the US. The term gougeflation is more appropriate. The major suppliers of food and services have taken the opportunity to spike prices. If you are upset with the increasing prices look to the corporations responsible, 54% of the increases we are experiencing in their profits.

Pretty easy to see how these companies are having record profits, at our expense. This is the free market at its worst, named greed. It has little to do with politics, besides the ownership class (both sides) keeping us from seeing the truth.

None of the politicians are willing to step up for us and call them out because they want those donations. We republicans are being gamed as much as the democratic side is and all of us suffer.
So you are anti capitalist? If you would recall all of those greedy corporations lost money during all the lockdown BS. So what is the opposite of a capitalist? Socialist?

    AOC is that you?

    Great first post.

You sound like a couple recently booted communist/socialist/anti capitalist.

Inflation is driven primarily energey prices. As long as that's high because of anti fossil fuels policy the cost to produce transport and deliver goods to market will be high.

Countries experiencing the worst inflation all have this in common.

Well there we have it, crickets. They are too busy with John Wick and Oregon measure 114, to be bothered by an flagrant violation of the 4th Amendment, that DJT proposed and or endorsed.
Trump isnt a conservative. People forget that. Hes a capitalist and acted like it. If the dems wernt all in to get him he wouldnt have gone as far right in return. I'm glad they hounded him and his "oh ya, phuck you and watch this" propensity for counter punching. It made him a much better president but killed his shelf life.

    He wont.

Inflation would be about 1/3 of what it is if we remained incontrol of the energy markets thru independence. Maybe 1/2 without bidens spending, And war on everything not green.

No one is saying coming out of the world shut down there wouldnt be inflation but that actually would have been transitory.

    Anti-Trump............

All the cool kids are doing it....................

The media is hyping DeSantis for a reason............

To be fair, I heavily criticized trump almost from day one; he was the last candidate I ‘held my nose and voted for’.

I do appreciate some of the policies his administration implemented even when he used the Obama playbook of EOs and rule making to bypass Congress.

No matter how much McConnell, McCarthy and other swamp rats would like him to.............

Everyone knows DeSantis has been meeting with McConnell and other swampy Repub leaders since before the midterms......it's no secret.........

I see higher costs for food, fuel, utilities, housing, medical costs. The value of most retirement savings has dropped.
There is absolutely nothing this administration has done to improve the living conditions of Americans.
Which is exactly why we've got to stop this liberal nonsense. I don't care who it is, we have to start nominating the absolute best conservatives. If that's President Trump GREAT but, if he's going to go down this road of political infighting, he loses his "outsider" label. I'm not ready just yet to throw the 2nd greatest President out with the bath water, but DeSantis sure is doing it right and looking good in the process.
