As i type this i am sitting in a hospital room - and my wife is in labor.

Congrats. The day my son was born was about the happiest day of my life.

Don't plan on sleeping much for the next few years.

Oh, SO many things are gonna change. First thing, though - stay out of reach of wifie, and do NOT allow her to have sharp things in hand when you are within lungin' distance.....there's certain parts of yer anatomy she's gonna REALLY hate for a while.....

And then prepare the house - that means EVERYTHING you think is "child-proof"....isn't. Sandwiches into VCR players (if ya have one), fingers stuck in cats' asses....all the fun stuff.
