For this range, 30 - 35 is a comfortable number for us and 30 is what the range owner likes to see when he's giving us our discount. I don't try to weigh too heavy on the discount factor though because I'm not trying to make people drive that far and use that much gas just so that some of us can save $5 on range fees. If it gets to it, we'll keep doing these meets and just pay the regular $15 if we can't get enough people to keep coming. That's fine. It just means better odds for the rest of us when its time for the raffle giveaways

Unfortunately, school is the least of my worries. There's some health issues that have been going on in my family for the last couple of weeks, and they're not over yet. Things are looking better than they were, but it's going slow.

I hope I can make the October meet. I was really looking forward to this one. I'll probably have some new "toys" by then though.

Bringing my "nephew" (wife's cousin's son). He's about 12 & lost his dad to cancer about a year ago. We're bringing his dad's rifle for him. He lives w/ Mom & sister so doesn't get lots of guy time.
