Initial reviews were awful but more recent were much better.Anyone shot one of these yet? I’m seriously considering selling one of my rifles to free up room for the SFAR. Curious if anyone has experience with one?
I am intrigued by the smaller platform.......
<>I am too, but physics is still physics.
Thanks for the tip, I’ll have to check that outCheck out "Beyond Seclusion" on YT for a pretty good review on one.
It intrigues me quite a bit. With the biggest negative for me being the gas tube disassembly for cleaning.
After a few of the bugs and kinks get worked out, maybe one will be in my future.
Valid point.I've shot one. It didn't group well, but that may have been the optic.
I do not trust the BCG on the SFAR. Only one gas key screw, and it was very weakly staked.
What? One gas key screw?I've shot one. It didn't group well, but that may have been the optic.

The one I saw could be a fluke, but if the staking doesn't look like it was done by mjolnir I'd remove it, reseal it with permatex and re stake it with a MAS or MOACKS tool.Valid point.

Yes. And knowing ruger, its a 98% chance it isn't torqued and sealed. What? One gas key screw?
I could not agree with that statement. They are no different in that aspect than S&W, Colt or Springfield. I would say that they have rushed their AR's to market and at times had bugs in the first production. However, Ruger stands behind their product and if that happens they will promptly take care of the issue. Even if it means providing a new rifle. And in these cases, they pay for shipping both ways.I don’t have much experience with Ruger products, but the general consensus here seems they lack quality control on their products?

Yes. I own(ed) 4 rugers.I don’t have much experience with Ruger products, but the general consensus here seems they lack quality control on their products?
It wasn't too bad. Not something I'd want to use as a plinker or range toy.Seems it would be a thumper. Was it?
