I like the WGRS rear sight in concept but I find the aluminum a bit soft. I've stripped out the screws on more than one. If XS sights makes a rear ghost ring sight that fits, you'll find it to be a much more rugged, all-steel unit. They probably won't list anything for this particular use case but you can usually go to their blackpowder rifle listings and choose a part number based on barrel diameter. They also make a low-profile unit that extends from the rear of the picatinny rail. You just lose one slot. I actually find that mounting their large-ring ghost rear aperture that far from my eye works well. YMMV; some folks can't stand that set-up.

Just some thoughts on alternate parts if you find the WGRS sufficiently painful to zero that you get frustrated and break it. Been there, done that. :)

Looks like you're building a nice rig. Congrats.

Any ideas on the scope yet? There's some lightweight fixed 2.5x options, and a couple heavier variable power options, but I really wish someone decent would make a lightweight fixed 4x scout scope.

Butt cuff or wrist cuff. There are slings available that hold a few rounds also.

Or just hold a few between your fingers like dangerous game hunters shooting doubles do.

Any ideas out there for a bullet holder? Looking for something that'll keep another 2 or 3 rounds handy to reload.
    Some ideas.

To hold just two rounds on the wrist, if you can find some NOS somewhere: Thompson Center Wrist Rifle Ammo Carrier 2-Round Nylon Black

Holds six and, like the above, you'll have to find some NOS somewhere: Uncle Mikes Wrist Band Cartridge Carrier

Holds six attached to the buttstock: Uncle Mikes Shell Holder Rifle Butt w Flap Black | eBay

Holds five attached to the buttstock, but a lot classier than the previous one: Western gun holster and accessories - Rifle Shell Holder RSH

Holds ten, bottom of page 30: Hunter Catalog 2014

Look for the "bullet caddies" about one third of the way down the page: Logos Leathercraft - Cowboy Add ons

Holds ten on the belt: 10 Round Rifle Cartridge Slide With Flap

Relatively unobtrusive belt pouch that could be pressed into service: Leather Belt Pouch

Or just give in to your inner Bandito :) :
