    So, anything other than FMJ gets lumped into the "assault bullets" category...?

    It's official. We need to nuke Kommiefornia, or just wall them off from the rest of the country, with a no-fly zone within three miles or so of said wall.

    It's a California-only thing attached to certain naughty rifles to make them incapable of detaching their magazines without a tool. A bullet can be used as the tool to accomplish this easily. It has to be one of the most absurd devices ever invented to comply with one of the most absurd laws ever written.

    I got to mess with the prototype before anybody knew about it. It was so "edgy" that the guy who invented it put it on a stripped lower to shop it for legal opinions so he'd have a slam dunk defense.
